so we are hard at work, promise! Some news:
1. If you haven’t seen the video yet for LJIV go here http://pacificuv.com/. We are in the process of posting this to our myspace page and other video sites.
2. we will announce west coast tour dates quite soon. It looks like the tour will start around mid October and go down thru California and then EAST. As soon as everything is finalized, we will post the dates.

3. We are also about to start work on our second video, for tremelo……….I will let everyone know how it goes…

so the promise to post 5 new blog entries a week proved too much. It felt a bit like a high school teacher trying to have 5 lesson plans ready at the beginning of each week. I probably could have done it, but ice cream season is amongst us and I have gallons of mocha mint to consume…………
so here are a few updates on what has been happening:
1. today, spin.com informed us that we are their buzz artist of the day! go here to read the blurb and download the song need from our album.
2. We are still working on our West Coast Tour and it looks like it will be in mid-October. Some of the shows we are working on might be with some really cool bands! stay tuned………

Our first video- for LJIV (the last song on longplay2)- has been completed and will be posted in the next few days.

All these shows are in Portland, but we will announce West Coast tour plans for the fall soon. The Dour Fir show will be especially cool: we will perform the last song on longplay two, “Ljiv”, with 7 live cello players. Buy tickets now as these shows always sell out.
hey. so this has been an exciting time for us. the reviews so far have been amazing, and we are getting emails from all around the world from people saying they like the new record. thank you. it is rewarding to know that something you have worked so hard on is being enjoyed.
we have a show coming up at the towne lounge on Thursday, April 24th. More shows are in the works as is a West Coast tour sometime in the late summer. We are also hard at work at a video. stay tuned!

going out to shoot a video today for one of the songs on our new record. It will be posted in the next few months. The goal is to have a video for each of the 8 songs on the new record. This first one will be done on super 8, but we hope to shoot each in a different way with a different look and feel. Anyone in the PDX area a video director? we are excited though and hope everyone is pleased. the initial feedback from folks has been good.
